Archive for the ‘Coffee Prince’ Category

It’s funny for me to think that I started getting into dramas/kpop/everything else right around this time last year; it feels so much longer than that. The first drama I ever watched was Boys Over Flowers and my first impression was “Goodness what is this cheesiness?” (lol I’m a very judgemental person as you will soon figure out) but mannnn was it cracktastic. I became addicted faster then you can say “Sunbae”. Almooost Paaaaradise and Stand by Me were stuck in my head for the next three months I tell ya(I still jam to those songs on my Ipod). To this day, it is still my number one favourite drama of all times. I know it was lacking on so many fronts but I swear no other drama ever captivated me the same way. Not to say that there wasn’t dramas that were just as good, if not better than BOF. This brings me to my next point:

TOP 5 DRAMAS YOU MUST ABSOLUTELY WATCH THIS SPRING BREAK BECAUSE THEY ARE LONG/CRACKTASTIC AND REQUIRE PROPER SPAZZING TIME

So, I compiled a short list of dramas that I recommend everyone to watch this spring break (They are also good to watch any time, really). This is by no means a summary or a proper review of these dramas, which I will get on to do later. And this is definitely not the last time you’ll hear of them from me because, well, they’re my favourites so they will inevitably be compared to other dramas and brought up time and time again. This was originally supposed to be all done in one post but it was turning to out to be this mega giant post so I chopped it up into five parts. Lets get started…

1) Coffee Prince

Episodes: 17
Stars: Yoon Eun Hye, Gong Yoo, Lee Sang Gyun
Oh Coffee Prince, you complete me. So this is my not-so-guilty pleasure because here’s a drama that has it all: brains, beauty, and drop-dead awesome songs on its soundtrack. It’s appealing to general public but it’s deep. It’s touching yet it’s fun. Really, it’s a must watch.
For fans of: You’re beautiful, Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Down with Love (Taiwanese)
Watch it here: www.dramafever.com/drama/1/1/Coffee_Prince/

And when you’re done. You may want to check out the Big Bang Parody (here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEHRPfJY6ZQ).
